Premiere: Stream Craft Spells’ ‘Gallery’ EP

Deer Lodge is honored to premiere a stream of Craft Spells‘ upcoming Gallery EP on the heels of sharing our Favorite Tracks of 2012, which included the icy lead single “Still Left With Me.” Led by Justin Vallesteros, Craft Spells have developed into a hit-making hub of nostalgic pop gems. With throwback, Factory Records sensibilities, Vallesteros and company deliver anthemic choruses (see “Warmth”) but ultimately showcase sexy, dance-driven guitar pop for the majority of the 24-minute outing. As Vallesteros sings ”there’s nothing else that I’d like to do” in the second track, you can’t help but question these songs go deeper than just a melancholy past. He’s looking forward.
