Our very first film captures Trevor Powers, more commonly known as Youth Lagoon, performing a stripped-down version of “The Hunt” deep in the foothills outside of Boise, Idaho. It was a warm October day. We spent the day driving on dirt trails, commenting on Idaho’s beauty and how it’s scenery to most is practically unknown. We parked the cars near a stream and Powers set foot into the woods, keyboard in hand.
“It makes me think of when the artist first started writing that song,” he said when discussing his view on intimate, bare sessions. “For me, this is how the song basically started before adding any production on top. It means something.”

Absolutely beautiful, stunning, and enthralling all at once. Great video! Every time I see a great site do unique videos of performances, it keeps motivating me to continue with my writing – thank you for such great inspiration, as well as a wonderful video to encapsulate my afternoon!
